La Afro House è una delle migliori novità – o ritorno alle radici – degli ultimi anni, grazie alla sua capacità di unire elettronica e sonorità africane, radici tribali e modernità. Un genere che ha riportato nei club calore e autenticità, grazie a melodie malinconiche, voci che evocano spiritualità, testi che parlano di vita, amore, libertà. Francis Mercier, uno dei massimi esponenti mondiali in materia, è l’ospite speciale di Amnesia Milano sabato 15 novembre 2025, affiancato da Elbio&Denis.
L’haitiano Francis Mercier è un nome sempre più presente nei contesti che contano, in festival quali Coachella e nei migliori club di Ibiza ed Amsterdam, da tempo un riferimento per gli appassionati della musica Afro House, anche e soprattutto con le produzioni della sua etichetta discografica Deep Root Records. Mercier è uno dei dj e producer più abili nel declinare la musica elettronica abbattendo ogni barriera linguistica e sociale: negli ultimi anni la sua ascesa è stata inarrestabile, basti pensare al suo set alle Piramidi di Gyza, Egitto, lo scorso aprile ed alle sue tracce “Solfa” (Cercle Records) e “Sauti vs. Diplomatico” (Insomniac Records), quest’ultimo realizzato insieme all’African Children's Choir, coro composto da bambini dai 7 ai 12 anni provenienti da diverse nazioni africane.
Elbio & Denis è un duo milanese il cui sound è frutto di un’unione vincente tra background diversi: i loro set e le loro produzioni discografiche si caratterizzano per una profonda attenzione al dettaglio ed alla qualità sonora, come dimostra “Break Out”, il loro EP di debutto, uscito lo scorso agosto sull’etichetta discografica Moan.

Haitian Francis Mercier is increasingly present in the hottest venues, at festivals like Coachella and the best clubs in Ibiza and Amsterdam. He's long been a go-to for Afro House fans, especially with the releases from his label, Deep Root Records. Mercier is one of the most skilled DJs and producers at shaping electronic music, breaking down all linguistic and social barriers. His rise in recent years has been unstoppable, as evidenced by his set at the Pyramids of Giza, Egypt, last April, and his tracks "Solfa" (Cercle Records) and "Sauti vs. Diplomatico" (Insomniac Records), the latter of which was released with the African Children's Choir, a choir composed of children aged 7 to 12 from various African countries.
Elbio & Denis is a Milanese duo whose sound is the result of a winning union between different backgrounds: their sets and their record productions are characterized by a deep attention to detail and sound quality, as demonstrated by “Break Out”, their debut EP, released last August on the Moan record label.
