Visionario, instancabile e soprattutto autentico; unico nel muoversi tra narrazione e sperimentazione, sempre rimanendo fedele a sé stesso. Caratteristiche e peculiarità che rendono Laurent Garnier un vero e proprio prototipo del djing e che saprà una volta di più ipnotizzare tutti quanti venerdì 5 settembre 2025 all’ex Macello di Milano, per il suo primo appuntamento elettronico di gran classe dopo la pausa estiva. Insieme all’eclettico francese, Nicola Mazzetti e Richey V, per un appuntamento organizzato da ex Macello, in collaborazione con le crew di Le Cannibale, VOID e Clubber Agency.

Sin dagli anni ottanta Laurent Garnier è sinonimo assoluto di elettronica di qualità, sin da quando divenne resident all'Haçienda di Manchester, grazie ad una tecnica impeccabile e alla capacità di contaminare diversi generi musicali in maniera naturale e spontanea, diventando così uno dei primissimi dj ad esportare l’elettronica al di fuori del clubbing, portandola non soltanto nei festival ma anche nei teatri e nei musei, dandole così piena legittimità in quanto arte e cultura. Tutto questo realizzato con i suoi set, le sue produzioni musicali - Crispy Bacon” e “The Man With The Red Face” sono autentici grandi classici di categoria – libri (“Electrochoc”) e documentari (“Off The Record”). L’appuntamento di venerdì 5 all’ex Macello è davvero di quelli da non perdere, anche perché quest’anno Garnier ha annunciato di voler ridurre sempre più le sue serate da dj, sia nei club sia nel festival: non più di dieci all’anno, preferibilmente in contesti dove il suo rapporto con il pubblico sia diretto, non mediato e senza filtri. Niente di meglio dell’ex Macello per tutto ciò.

Venerdì 5 settembre 2025, insieme a Laurent Garnier ci saranno Nicola Mazzetti e Nicola Richey V. Fondatore di Serendipity, indiscusso punto di riferimento milanese per i veri appassionati di musica, punto fermo degli eventi di Le Cannibale, Nicola Mazzetti è solito proporre set che oscillano tra house, downtempo e techno. Co-fondatore degli eventi Void, Richey V da anni condivide console e palchi con i migliori dj techno che suonano a Milano, così come da tempo è attivo anche sul fronte discografico. La sua ultima produzione si intitola “BANG!”, uscita lo scorso aprile su [D.P.T.H. Records].

These are the traits and peculiarities that make Laurent Garnier a true prototype of DJing, and he will once again mesmerize everyone on September 2025 Friday 5th (from 6pm till midnite), at ex Macello in Milano, for the first big electronic event after summer break. Together with the eclectic Frenchman, Nicola Mazzetti and Richey V, for an event produced by ex Macello in cooperation with Le Cannibale, VOID crew ad Clubber Agency.

Since the 1980s, Laurent Garnier has been synonymous with high-quality electronic music, ever since he became a resident at the Haçienda in Manchester, thanks to his impeccable technique and his ability to naturally and spontaneously blend different musical genres. This made him one of the very first DJs to take electronic music beyond clubbing, bringing it not only to festivals but also to theaters and museums, thus giving it full legitimacy as both art and culture. All this has been achieved through his DJ sets, his music productions – “Crispy Bacon” and “The Man with The Red Face” are undisputed anthems – his books (“Electrochoc”), and documentaries (“Off the Record”). The event on Friday the 5th at the ex Macello is truly not to be missed, especially since this year Garnier has announced he plans to further reduce his DJ performances, both in clubs and at festivals: no more than ten per year, preferably in settings where his connection with the audience is direct, unmediated, and unfiltered. There’s no better place for this than the ex-Macello.
