Icona pop rock e leader della band Skunk Anansie, Skin nasce in un quartiere centrale di Brixton dove nella stessa sera era facile trovare Bob Marley sorseggiare un bicchiere di rum jamaicano e Mohammed Ali fare l’occhiolino alle ragazze dietro il bancone. Skin vive dentro la musica sin dai tempi del college quando alterna gli studi da interior design alle esibizioni daDJ nei party studenteschi. Le sue influenze derivano principalmente dalla scena rock ma nel suo background troneggiano Isley Brother, Sly & Robbie e Bette Davies. Con il suo ingresso negli Skunk Anansie in qualità di lead singer e maggior compositrice, la band colleziona oltre 4 milioni di dischi venduti. Quando non é impegnata in tournée, Skin torna sempre al suo primo amore, il diskjockeing, con apparizioni regolari presso il Bungalow8 di Londra e serate in tutta Europa, da Roma a Ibiza passando per la Svizzera. Il suo approccio fresco alla musica mixato con il suo stile eclettico intriso diindie/rock, dark disco, house ed electro pop fanno diventare ricercatissima questa regina del rock.

Skin is one of Britain’s leading and acclaimed Rock Singers. She is also a fashion icon, a renowned DJ, an Actress and an Activist. 
Born and brought up in Brixton, South London, she rejected the safe haven of soul/R&B session singing by literally diving headlong into hardcore rock. Since she emerged in the mid ‘90s with Skunk Anansie, Skin has been a groundbreaking presence.
But as well as fronting one of the UK’s most successful underground bands, Skin is a multi-talented artist involved in various projects.
In 2009 she was sold an old Pioneer Mixer by her friend and Legendary Dj Damien Lazarus, seven years later Skin is an established DJ, playing Techno, Tech House and Minimal all over the world at classic venues like Output in New York, Sound Nightclub in LA and Fabric in London, and with Iconic Techno Dj Nicole Moudaber, Space (Ibiza) at Carl Cox’s Revolution (2016) and Coachella in 2016. She has also released Techno music under the guise of Juvenal on Nichole Moudaber’s Mood Records (2016) and currently has a collaboration with Nicole called #Breed, a 5 track LP of original Techno Tracks and a Remix album #BREEDRMXS which has remixes by some of the most important names in Dance music like Jamie Jones, Carl Craig, Pan Pot and Scuba to mention a few.

She is currently producing solo Techno music and preparing for an up and coming movie role.
